My full Haus of Wrestling exclusive interview with Nia Jax was made available last week for all ClubHaus Members. To learn more about the Haus of Wrestling ClubHaus, please click HERE.
Nia Jax had an impressive run in WWE NXT, where she feuded with eventual top names like 2024 Women’s WWE Royal Rumble winner Bayley, Alexa Bliss, and Carmella. Once she made her way to the main roster, she became a WWE Women’s Raw and Tag Team Champion. Unfortunately, she was released by WWE in 2021, but returned to WWE last year at the Royal Rumble and became a full-time performer again until several months later, in September. She now appears poised for a match against WWE Worlds Women Champion Rhea Ripley at WWE Elimination Chamber.
In a Haus of Wrestling exclusive interview from the WWE Royal Rumble media junket, I asked Jax how she would feel about returning to compete in WWE NXT as other main roster stars have done.
“Oh, absolutely,” she responded. “I feel as though NXT has a great talent pool right now. And I’m a big fan of what they have going on there. So I wouldn’t mind going back there and getting in the ring with them.”
I pressed Jax on which WWE NXT talent she would like to share the ring with and brought up Tiffany Stratton specifically as a possible opponent.
“Oh, love, love watching her, her little Tiffy Time, I love that,” she said. “She’s like the little spoiled brat. I love watching her, and love watching Lash Legend. Love seeing all the new talent they have coming up there, like Kelani, and I wouldn’t mind seeing what they could do with me.”
Another name from Jax’s WWE NXT past that she spends more time around these days is WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Following Vince McMahon’s initial retirement and subsequent full-on resignation in the face of depraved allegations, Levesque has assumed full control of the WWE creative process.
“Triple H was the brain behind Nia Jax,” she noted. “He hired me after my tryout, and then he helped mold me in NXT. So it’s kind of similar to like what I used to have in NXT, in the black and yellow, and so I’m honoured. It’s great. I think he’s got an incredible mind. And he really invests in all of us and cares about everything, like, our feedback and helping us out. So it’s really cool.”
