Logan Paul has made sparse WWE appearances ever since winning the United States Championship from Rey Mysterio at WWE Crown Jewel last month. The social media megastar has made just one appearance since winning the belt, establishing a #1 Contender’s tournament to determine his first-ever title challenger. Santos Escobar and Bobby Lashley have already made it to the semi-finals with Kevin Owens, Austin Theory, Grayson Waller, and NXT’s Carmelo Hayes set to battle it out on this Friday’s SmackDown to determine the other two semi-finalists.
In his time away from WWE, Paul has continued exploring outside ventures including his highly-successful PRIME business alongside close friend and fellow YouTube star KSI. The two were in Mexico City, Mexico recently as part of a promotional event for the energy drink which took a unique turn in tribute to Paul’s pro wrestling success as of late.
In the closing moments of the show, KSI got Paul onto his shoulders and delivered an Attitude Adjustment on the United States Champion through a table. Paul was then pinned for a three-count by Mexican online streamer Rivers, who had signed a deal with PRIME at the event. In doing so, Rivers technically joins Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins as one of the only people in history to pin Logan Paul.
This isn’t the first time KSI has crossed over with the world of pro wrestling. Back at WrestleMania 39 earlier this year, he accompanied Paul for his match with Seth Rollins dressed as a giant bottle of PRIME. He was eventually taken out of the match mid-way through when Rollins pulled him onto the announce table as Paul hit a frog splash from the top rope to the outside. Following his WrestleMania loss, Paul has since gone on to compete in the Men’s Money In The Bank ladder match and gotten a singles victory over long-time rival Ricochet at SummerSlam.
