LA Knight has been on a rocket ride to the top of the WWE pecking order since being left off the WrestleMania 39 card. And, really, how did WWE have a WrestleMania in LA without LA Knight? YEAH! It appears that Knight’s ascent to WWE’s main event picture has finally peaked, as the following news was just released by the sports entertainment juggernaut’s official X account.

By the time Crown Jewel rolls around, it will have been over three months since Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on a televised WWE event. At WWE SummerSlam, he successfully retained against his cousin Jey Uso, with the help of his brother, Jimmy. He also defended his title earlier this month at a non-televised WWE SuperShow in Kansas City, defeating Sami Zayn.
Fightful reports that despite Vince McMahon no longer having the final say on WWE creative, with Paul “Triple H” Levesque being empowered as the Chief Content Officer, the process of putting together The Bloodline’s segments and matches remains the same. Reigns and Heyman are central to deciding the direction of The Bloodline’s creative, with Michael PS Hayes helping to put together anything involving the faction. It was noted this is true for all The Bloodline segments, not just those with Reigns involved. For example, the Sami Zayn promo and tag team title main event on WWE Raw this past Monday night were put together by Hayes.
It was also noted in Fightful’s report that Knight’s push was planned before McMahon had his creative role relegated.
