This past Saturday night at WWE Fastlane, Bobby Lashley, and The Street Profits came up short against The LWO. The two factions faced off twice on SmackDown in the weeks leading up to the match, with each picking up a victory over the other. Since The LWO won the rubber match between the stables, it is possible both move on to other things or that fans see some new wrinkle in their feud this Friday night. Fightful reports that one change that could be coming is the addition of a member to Lashley’s new stable, Odyssey Jones.
The former WWE NXT star was drafted to the WWE Raw brand earlier this year but has remained off television since. Jones recently competed at WWE Superstar Spectacle in India, a non-televised event, losing to Bron Breakker. He has also worked a series of Dark matches at SmackDown tapings, largely losing to Cameron Grimes. Apparently, he is now being discussed as a possible member of Lashley and The Street Profits’ new entity.
If Jones does align with the budding Lashley and Profits stable, it will help them even out their ranks compared to The LWO. Following the return of Carlito at Fastlane, it appears the apple-spitting star will be regular with the group, expanding them to five active male members and one female, Zelina Vega. With WWE Survivor Series around the corner, which traditionally sees groups of wrestlers pitted against each other, it is possible fans see this feud continue into the big tentpole premium live event.
This Friday night’s SmackDown will be loaded, along with the rest of WWE’s programming this week. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will return to the Island of Relevancy and will no doubt pass down punishment to Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, who failed to defeat John Cena and LA Knight at Fastlane.
