WWE Superstar Spectacle in India is currently underway, and one big name that showed up to surprise the fans in attendance is WWE Hall of Fame inductee The Great Khali. Khali, arguably WWE’s most well-known Indian wrestler, is a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and is one of the few men ever to pick up a win over The Undertaker. In a video being shared around social media, Khali can be seen in the ring getting a huge reaction as he teases he has one more match left in him.
The tease of one more match from Khali will either elicit excitement or eye rolls, depending on the fan you are talking to. One name that many are already bandying about as a potential opponent is “The Nigerian Giant” Omos. Omos’ last WWE match was at SummerSlam, where he unsuccessfully competed in the Slim Jim Battle Royal. Prior to that, the big man had not been seen on TV since his loss to current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freaking” Rollins at WWE Backlash.
Interestingly, The Great Khali’s last WWE match was also a multi-man match, as he was a part of the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia in 2018. Khali was also unsuccessful, as Braun Strowman went on to win. Prior to that, his last singles WWE match took place on a 2014 edition of Smackdown, where he lost to Rusev.
Elsewhere on the WWE Superstar Spectacle card, John Cena and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freaking” Rollins will team against Imperium’s Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser, Rhea Ripley will defend her WWE World Women’s Championship against Natalya, and the team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn take on Indus Sher’s Veer Mahaan and Sanga, with Jinder Mahal in their corner. Drew McIntyre and WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther have been making local media appearances and are expected to participate in the show in some fashion.
