NOTE: This event is being rescheduled and a new date will be announced soon.
Along with the launch of Collision has come speculation that the AEW roster could be split into two, creating distinct Dynamite and Collision brands. Recently, Tony Khan noted that he has not made any hard plans in regard to a potential roster split but did say that some talents will largely be appearing on one show or another. In an exclusive Haus of Wrestling interview, TBS Champion Kris Statlander made it clear that she hopes to defend her title on both brands but does feel that there are enough female talents for two separate women’s divisions.
Regardless of how serious Khan and the promotion may be about splitting the roster up, Haus of Wrestling is going to do its own AEW Fantasy Draft! This Friday at Noon EST, tune into Haus of Wrestling’s YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, or Facebook page to check out all the fantasy drafting action as it plays out.
I will be playing the role of General Manager of Collision, making picks for that brand, while comedian EJ Cameron, one of the longest-tenured Second City Chicago Mainstage cast members of all time, will be the General Manager for Dynamite. This will not be the first time EJ and I have collaborated on a pro wrestling podcast project, as many of you may remember him as one of my regular co-hosts on The Wrestling Inc. Daily.
Our full AEW Fantasy Draft results will be shared on the Haus of Wrestling site, and the audio will be available on the Haus of Wrestling podcast feed shortly after we are done. We will also release a poll on our Twitter account asking who you think drafted a better roster, EJ or myself.
Here are the official rules for the Haus of Wrestling AEW Fantasy Draft!
