Alexa Bliss isn’t being featured on WWE TV at the moment, and it looks like fans shouldn’t expect to see her in action anytime soon. The former WWE Women’s Champion and noted pop singer confirmed to E! News earlier today that they are pregnant. The two were married on April 9, 2022, and this is their first child together.
“The best moments in life are the completely unexpected,” Bliss tweeted. “Baby Cabrera arriving December 2023!!”
Bliss signed with WWE in 2013 and made her debut as part of the company’s young NXT brand. She has since gone on to capture the WWE Raw Women’s Championship three times, WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship twice, and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions three times, twice with Nikki Cross and once with Asuka.
Bliss’ last WWE match took place at the Royal Rumble earlier this year when she lost to then-WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Following her loss, there was a brief in-ring segment featuring a tease that Bray Wyatt, or possibly Uncle Howdy, had taken control of her. Wyatt and Bliss worked closely together up until his release in July 2021, and she continued to carry her Lilly doll from the Firefly Funhouse for several months after that.
Wyatt has reportedly been dealing with an unknown injury that has been keeping him out of action, and with Bliss now pregnant, it doesn’t seem like a follow-up between the demonic duo is on the horizon, despite the Rumble tease. The last thing fans were treated to in regard to Wyatt was a brief series of mental games he played on Bobby Lashley heading into WrestleMania 39. Once Wyatt suffered an injury, Lashley went on to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and waved to the live crowd at Mania.
Haus of Wrestling sends our best to the happy couple as they celebrate this beautiful milestone!
