Cody Rhodes punched his ticket to the WWE WrestleMania 40 main event this past Saturday night in the men’s WWE Royal Rumble match. The win was made all the more historic, considering he had won the match the year before, but that was far from the only memorable moment in the multi-man contest. Elsewhere during the more than hour-long bout, Andrade made his return to WWE following a run in AEW, and Bron Breakker debuted on the WWE main roster. On tonight’s WWE Raw, fans were treated to updates about what the future holds for both Andrade and Breakker in WWE.
During a backstage segment, Andrade could be standing alongside Adam Pearce, signing a contract to officially join the WWE Raw brand. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis walked into the shot just as the ink was drying and noted his displeasure that he lost out on signing the big free agent. Aldis was even prepared to make a very generous offer, but it appears Andrade was uninterested in hearing him out.
After Andrade left the room, and just as Aldis and Pearce looked like they were about to start a conversation, the SmackDown authority figure received a text message. Aldis looked up at Pearce and let him know that it was Bron Breakker before taking off to speak with him. The implication seems to be that Aldis will be signing Breakker to the blue brand, but this could also be a tease as the brands begin a Breakker bidding war.
Andrade and Breakker’s WWE futures will be discussed on tonight’s ClubHaus WWE Raw Review, available to all ClubHaus tiered members, starting at just $5! To sign up to become a ClubHaus member, click HERE.
