The 2024 WWE Women’s Royal Rumble is in the books, and this year’s winner is Damage CTRL leader Bayley. The overall match has been widely praised as one of the best women’s WWE Royal Rumble matches ever and featured several notable surprise entrants. Among them were Naomi, who made her WWE return, Liv Morgan, returning to action from injury, and TNA Knockout’s Champion Jordynne Grace.
Fightful reports that WWE contacted TNA last weekend about Grace competing in the women’s WWE Royal Rumble. The promotion, as well as Grace herself, were said to be easy to work with when putting the deal together. Grace apparently had a physical, along with blood work, done this past Monday before heading to Florida on Thursday. Once at the WWE Performance Center, she participated in the women’s WWE Royal Rumble match rehearsals. Some within TNA claim to have heard about the possibility of Grace appearing in the Rumble earlier this month.
There is no update on whether Grace will continue to compete in WWE or if this was a one-off appearance, like when Mickie James entered while still with Impact. Last year, TNA announced that its premium service, TNA+, will be joining Endeavor Streaming, owned by WWE’s parent company, Endeavor.
