Blair Davenport has found great success ever since joining the NXT brand full-time earlier this year. Most recently, she followed in the footsteps of Roxanne Perez by winning the second-ever Women’s Iron Survivor match at NXT Deadline, earning her a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. Davenport is set to cash in on that opportunity at NXT New Year’s Evil where she’ll challenge Lyra Valkyria for the gold in what will be her first title match since September 2022.
But it’s not just inside the ring that Davenport is seeing big developments as she’s recently taken a big step in her personal life as well. Taking to Instagram last night, she announced her engagement to fellow NXT star Riley Osborne. Accompanied by photos of the two at Times Square in New York, Davenport wrote, “I said yes!” along with emojis of a ring and a heart.
Her new fiance has also found success in the black and gold brand as of late. Osborne is one of the competitors in the ongoing Men’s Breakout Tournament and advanced through the first round with a victory over Keanu Carver on NXT last week. In the semi-finals on the Boxing Day edition of the show next week, he’s set to face Lexis King, the man best known for his time in AEW and MLW as Brian Pillman Jr.
Davenport was previously in a relationship with current IWGP United Kingdom Champion Will Ospreay and even served as his manager in New Japan Pro-Wrestling a few years ago. Their on-screen alliance ended when Ospreay hit Davenport, then known as Bea Priestley, with an Oscutter after winning the 2021 New Japan Cup. Davenport signed with WWE a few months later and went on to have a year-long run in NXT UK before joining NXT when the former brand shut down.
Everyone here at Haus of Wrestling sends our congratulations to Davenport and Osborne on their engagement!
