Tonight’s AEW Dynamite broadcast was plagued with severe audio issues for several minutes, resulting in a lengthy pretaped video segment with almost entirely inaudible sound, and possibly frustrating Tony Khan. The video, featuring Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Mike Bennett, and Matt Taven featured Strong and his allies manipulating Cole into helping Strong re-arrange the furniture in his home.
Following the segment, Wardlow made his AEW return before Excalibur briefly addressed the technical problems and announced that the show would receive an overrun, allowing them to broadcast the video package once again. AEW co-owner Khan made a post on X discussing the issues and laying the blame squarely at the feet of the network.
“Due to repeated audio issues on [TBS], I understand our fans missed the [Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and The Kingdom] earlier on [AEW Dynamite]. I’ve requested an overrun tonight so that we can replay the Cole/Roddy/Kingdom video on TBS with the audio intact tonight on Dynamite!”
This is far from the first time that AEW has dealt with technical problems, including within the last several weeks. Like this instance, however, the other recent issues were reportedly the fault of the network rather than an issue on AEW’s end.
