All Elite Wrestling has announced the return of AEW Full Gear for the fourth year in a row. The pay-per-view will take place on Saturday, November 18, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, just outside of Los Angeles. Earlier this week, it was announced that the company will hold AEW Collision at the same arena on Friday night, meaning AEW will run back-to-back nights at the old home of the Los Angeles Lakers.
After taking a few years to get there, AEW seems to be introducing Los Angeles into its regular rotation. The company first brought AEW Dynamite to the West Coast city in June 2022, and returned earlier this year, as well as hitting other California cities like San Fransisco, San Diego, and Fresno in the months since.
As AEW continues adding more PPVs to its schedule, it becomes harder to predict ahead of time what the card might feature. The company will hold AEW Grand Slam on TV later this month, featuring the culmination of a world title tournament, before introducing the WrestleDream PPV in partnership with New Japan Pro-Wrestling on October 1. That show will take place at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.
Last year’s Full Gear was headlined by Maxwell Jacob Friedman challenging Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship – a match that MJF would go on to win, starting his still-ongoing reign. Undercard matches included Jamie Hayter defeating Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship, the return of Saraya to professional wrestling in a match against Dr. Britt Baker, and a three-way between Samoa Joe, Wardlow, and Powerhouse Hobbs.
