MJF and Adam Cole started off AEW All In on Zero Hour, defeating Aussie Open to become the ROH World Tag Team Champions. Hours later, the two men ended the night in a wild main event that saw Friedman retain his AEW World Championship over Adam Cole. Following the bout, Friedman told Cole that he had gotten lucky and reminded him that the fans still loved him. He then attempted to hand Cole his half of the ROH tag titles, only for the former Undisputed Era leader to toss it to the side.
Friedman then yelled back at Cole to “f-cking take it” and threw his half of the tag title back at his former friend. What followed was a tense moment where Friedman bore his back to Cole, offering him the chance to hit him from behind with no protection. After considering it, Cole decided not to take the shot, and as Friedman slowly turned around, the two men ended the night in an embrace.
The main event was actually two matches, as Friedman and Cole hit their double clothesline finishing move on each other at one point and accidentally pinned each other, resulting in a draw. Cole asked Friedman to give the match five more minutes, which he did, and more, declaring they would wrestle until a winner could be decided. The rematch quickly began with the referee being knocked out, leading to shenanigans involving chairs, the AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring, Roderick Strong, and more. In the end, it was a cradle pin from Friedman that put an end to Cole’s dreams of winning in Wembley.
