All Elite Wrestling has just wrapped up the biggest show in pro wrestling history, AEW All In London, and it is already looking forward to doing it again. Following Nigel McGuinness’ in-ring announcement that AEW had 81,035 fans in attendance for today’s historic show, Excalibur was given the chance to break his own big news on commentary. The masked broadcaster informed fans that AEW All In London II will return to Wembley Stadium on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Tony Khan confirmed the news to the fans in attendance in a fiery post-show promo.
Tonight’s show featured some big moments and memorable appearances, like Mercedes Mone, who popped up in the crowd during the Zero Hour pre-show. Elsewhere, Adam Cole was unsuccessful in defeating MJF for the AEW World Championship, but earlier in the night, also on Zero Hour, the two successfully worked together to defeat Aussie Open for the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Also, Saraya fought off three of AEW’s top female stars to win the AEW Women’s Championship in front of her home country and family.
There was also some backstage drama that leaked out during the show as CM Punk and Jack Perry reportedly had a physical confrontation backstage following Perry’s loss to HOOK on Zero Hour. Perry allegedly confronted Punk and “came at” him only to be choked, but it is not clear whether Punk did the choking or someone else. The confrontation stems from another backstage incident between the two, reportedly at Collision a few weeks ago, where Perry was insistent about using real glass in a segment, something Punk and AEW doctors were against.
