WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque shared the news of Windham Rotunda’s passing on social media earlier today, better known to WWE fans as Bray Wyatt. Rotunda was just 36 years old. In light of the tragic news, various figures from across the wrestling world have come together to pay tribute to the former WWE Champion.
The official WWE X account shared a graphic of Wyatt in remembrance of the star.
Alexa Bliss, who has an extensive history with Wyatt, at first simply posted that she was in shock. Later, she followed with another post expressing her heartbreak and praised Wyatt as “one of the most creative minds to ever walk this earth.”
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson stated he was heartbroken by the news and praised the uniqueness and rarity of Wyatt’s on-screen character.
Big E recalled that Wyatt became a mentor to him when he first signed with WWE and sent prayers to Wyatt’s wife and children.
Cody Rhodes shared his support for Wyatt’s family and told the star to “rest Cowboy.”
WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley simply stated that she was at a loss for words.
Baron Corbin posted that he couldn’t process the news and called Wyatt an “incredible person.”
Johnny Gargano dubbed Wyatt as “a once-in-a-generation storyteller” and touched upon his kind-heartedness.
