Nikki Cross may come across as one of WWE’s most unhinged characters of all time on-screen, but off-screen, she’s probably one of the most put-together. The former Sanity member took to Twitter earlier today to let her fans and friends know she has officially graduated from the University of Edinburgh.
“Woohoo graduation time!!!!!!,” she wrote. “#UniversityofEdinburgh#graduation2023 Big thank you to mummy cross and wonderful hubby for coming today. And yes I appreciate the olive green Harry Potter Slytherin colours!”
Cross isn’t just graduating with a bachelor’s degree, either, as she told the world last month that she was preparing to receive her Master’s in Science, with a focus on history.
“How I sleep at night knowing I got an A in my history dissertation and set to graduate in July with a Master in Science with Merit,” she revealed. “Dr Nikki is coming. um can we all send @DamoMackle his flowers? My eternal sounding board and the patience of a SAINT!”
It is worth noting that Cross teases pursuing her doctorate now that she has obtained her master’s degree. If she does see that goal through, it could take her anywhere from three to eight years, depending on how much time she has allotted to focus on it, which, considering her WWE schedule, will be difficult but not impossible.
Cross was last seen on WWE TV this past Monday night on Raw, teaming with Emma in a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship number one contender’s match. This was a first-time pairing for the two, and they ultimately came up short, losing to Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.
WWE fans may remember Big Damo as her fellow Sanity stablemate, Killian Dain. The two were officially married in January 2019 and have remained happily together in the years since, despite Damo no longer being with the company. Since his exit, Damo has returned to the UK independent pro wrestling scene, particularly PROGRESS, where he is a former World Champion.
